Auf der Tactica 2008 wurde das brandneue Wargaming System "Field of Glory" von Richard Brodley-Scott vorgestellt, einem der Autoren des bekannten DBM Systems. Field of Glory ist ein Spielsystem für epische Schlachten auf großtaktischer Ebene. Gerüchten zu Folge wurden Elemente von DBM und Warhammer Ancients zu einem völlig neuen, innovativen Regelansatz verschmolzen.

Auf der Tactica wurde "Field of Glory" von Thorsten Biallas, einem der deutschen Übersetzer des Regelwerkes präsentiert.

At the Tactica 2008 we presented an exclusive preview of the brand new wargaming system "Field of Glory", written by Richard Brodley-Scott, one of the authors of the well-known DBM system. Field of Glory is a gaming system for epic battles at a tactical level. Rumours says, that it will be amalgam elements of DBM and Warhammer Ancients to a completely new and innovative ruleset.

Field of Glory was presented by Thorsten Biallas, the german translater, and other playtesters of this ruleset.
